GCLR recruitment fellowships ($3000) can be awarded on a one-time basis to graduate students accepted into the PhD programs of GCLR-affiliated departments. Successful candidates demonstrate interdisciplinary interests in their research, with literature, theory, or philosophy playing a significant part. A maximum of three fellowships are available per year. The fellowships are awarded during recruitment season, but will only be distributed once students arrive at UCSB. To apply, the department’s graduate program director should send a detailed nomination letter, together with the candidate’s CV, to the GCLR Director, Dr. Juan Pablo Lupi (juan.lupi@ucsb.edu).
